Last Entry Times Explained

Last entry is always 1 hour before closing. But there are important nuances:

Your ticket has a specific 30-minute entry window (e.g., 9:00–9:30 AM). You must enter during that window.

If your slot is 3:00 PM in winter, you'll have only 1.5 hours inside before closing at 4:30 PM.

Guards begin clearing areas 30 minutes before closing. Late entry = rushed visit.

Official stay caps apply inside the Colosseum: 75 minutes with a standard ticket and 90 minutes with a special-access ticket (Underground, Arena or Attic).
